Visual Art with Ms. Newstadt & Mrs. Rogerson
Students extended their use of creating gesture figures from shape (2D) to form (3D) using aluminum foil and papier mache techniques this week. We continue to explore movement and mood in artwork through color and writing.
November 19 is the last day of the trimester, so this will be the last day of art class for many students. We will miss them until next year, but we look forward to meeting a new batch of artists on Monday, November 30. All NEW art students will need a visual arts process journal (sketchbook) measuring 9" x 12". Book bound or spiral work best. Please see photos below...we found these at Fred Meyer (red ones under $5 each/black or green ones under $10 each). Thank you!
