Our class also began our new unit, our Water Unit. (This too will be transdisciplinary with students' Science class.) For this new unit, we will be reading Linda Sue Park's A Long Walk to Water, which we started reading together in class on Thursday. We will also be investigating world water issues, as students learn to think critically about the world's water problems and how to propose solutions to these issues. As part of their learning in class, students will be investigating a world water issue of importance to them and designing/proposing a possible solution to it.
